Where to stay in Gudauri
Gudauri is Georgia's largest ski resort, at around 2,000 metres in the Greater Caucasus and about 2.5 hours from Tbilisi. New Gudauri is its newest quarter and the closest to the lifts. Altimera Collection manages and lets eleven ski-in / ski-out studio apartments there, a 3.5 minute walk from the gondola.

Winter
December to April brings reliable, dry powder and over 50km of groomed pistes across wide, sunlit bowls. Gentle nursery slopes sit beside genuinely challenging off-piste, with heli-skiing on the doorstep.

Gudauri in Summer
Summer
From June the slopes turn to alpine meadow. Paragliding, hiking and mountain biking take over, with the Cross of Friendship monument and the Truso Valley within easy reach.

Over 50 km of groomed piste, served by gondola and chair from the resort base at around 2,000 metres. New Gudauri sits at the bottom of the main gondola, a 3.5 minute walk from our door.

How far is Gudauri from Tbilisi?
Gudauri is about 2.5 hours from Tbilisi by road, roughly 120 km north on the Georgian Military Highway. Fly into Tbilisi International (TBS) and drive from there. Altimera does not operate or arrange transport: transfer and taxi operators are listed in the directory with their own contact details, and you book with them directly.

Altimera does not operate or arrange transport, so book a licensed private driver in advance, or take a taxi or rental car. Give your driver your flight number so they track the arrival.
Gudauri's ski season typically runs from December to April, with reliable, dry snow across wide, sunlit pistes.
